Ayannakai &Noel were ready to buy a home for themselves & their 2 young children, & knew they wanted to stay in this community. They fell for 4671 Stauffer, a 1951 classic Mid-century residence on a street w/ 16 other homes. Ayannakai, an avid gardener, appreciated the mature plantings that were maintained by horticulturists prior to their ownership. She is also a big time canner so Noel created an espalier garden with Fuji apple, Meyer lemon, varietal pear & fig in the front & planted a Eureka lemon, blood orange, tangerine Fuyu persimmon trees in the backyard. Having a large kitchen with direct access to the backyard w/ great indoor-outdoor flow, hanging out in the front yard on the sunny, redwood deck & connecting with their neighbors, & being close to the trails near Leona Lodge are all things that they loved about their home. However, relaxing evenings in the living room & seeing the sunset & views through the redwood trees beyond will be the feature they will miss most.
